Olympic Swimmer 24/7/21

Whilst watching the Olympics E saw this on the TV and said that he’s seen the toothpaste factory.

A few moments later he pointed out the flag of one of the swimmers and said “Look the toothpaste factory! He must work there!!”

Evaporate!! 28/2/2021

When E was sat eating his pudding (on the sofa-which is a rare event) B made a trumping sound.

E turned to look at him then shouted “evaporate, evaporate!” as he moved away!

He then came back to his pudding on the sofa and started to blow in B’s direction

Evaporate, Evaporate!!!

What does the T-shirt say? 18/01/2021

E was having his daily zoom session with all the reception class children. Mrs H (his class teacher) spotted A’s bright green T-shirt and asked “What does it say on A’s T-shirt?”

I said “Oh Mrs H” very sheepishly and continued “well it says this is my beer drinking T-shirt.”

Mrs H laughed and said that’ll be good for photos of him when he’s older and when he goes to the pub!

How funny is it that we can be on a reception class zoom call and talking about the pub 🤣

She’s a great teacher!

This is my beer drinking t-shirt!

This Is An Art Attack!!! 11/12/2020

Well… I can’t turn my back for a moment with A. When I was in the toilet he decided that he was going to go into the cupboard, help himself to the paint, open the paint and begin painting himself with it!!

I’m Blue Da Ba Dee…
Just lying down as mummy’s telling me off!

Quick shower and a few wipes later… all forgotten about!

Shame he didn’t learn his lesson…

The same happened when mum was putting up a Christmas decoration a few days later!!

Covered from head to toe!
Looking concerned as Mummy’s not impressed!

She really wasn’t impressed and had to clean the carpets and floor!!

Pink mess!
All on the carpet!! Mummy had to scrub this!!
❤️ One of the little handprints I had to rub away
but the memories are here to stay ❤️

Poor Anna 01/12/2020

At dinner time E asked me if he is going to get pudding tonight. He gets pudding when his behaviour has been good through other day either at home or at school.

Unfortunately today was a bad behaviour day so when he asked I said no and asked if he knew why?

He said it was “because I spitted and… yeah”. I said ‘yeah and,’ expecting him to say sorry or explain why he thought spitting was ok.

I wasn’t prepared for the next phrase…

“I electric shocked Anna” he said this whilst bobbing up and down as if being shocked.

I had to walk out of the room – that was far too hilarious in a moment where I needed to be stern.

Lovely photo of E having afternoon tea at nannies. This was taken a couple of days before this moment.

E And The Naughty Sweets! 23/11/2020

E has brought home his first full sticker chart today, this is brilliant news as we were concerned about his behaviour at the start of term (we know he has been working so well on it!)

As I was talking to him about how well he had done and how I was proud he joyfully said “I know what the reward can be for finishing it.”

He then walked into the kitchen and found the tub of sweets. Well, in this tub of sweets were some fizzy sweets in the shape of a mans down there thing.

I thought if that’s what he wants they’re sweets-go for it so he had some! At dinner time he asked for pudding and I gave him two more. He bit the end off and said…

“Look mummy I’ve made a bone!”

That’s it, my mind went straight to the gutter and I told him he has to show dad too… so hilarious!!

Look mummy, it’s a bone!

ea end 22/10/2020

E had created a book of his own and was showing me the pages in it. On the final page he was showing me his drawing of a lady and a peacock. He then said “ea end“ instead of “the end”… very cute!! ❤️

Pronounce it ea as in tea.

The lady and the peacock.

Reminiscing…

When E was 4 we went on a walk down the road on his bike.

His bike got beached and as he was pedalling the back wheel kept on spinning but he wasn’t going anywhere.

E shouted “Let’s go Peloton!”

He is so funny!

Cute picture of E when he was 4

Old man hobbling at lunch 3/10/2020

During lunch we had the curtains open and I was watching an old man slowly get out of the car to visit the neighbours across the road. E asked me “How old is that man?” I said he must be in his 70’s or 80’s or maybe even older with being a bit unsteady on his feet. E replied “Oh it’s ok, I know… he’s 32.”

– the cheek! Me and daddy are both 32 and he knows it!

Cheeky boys and the old mans car

E in Forest School 30/9/2020

E was raking up the leaves in Forest School and created a great pathway. When he was getting praise from Carol, his Forest School Leader, E asked “how much do I get for it?” and Carol said she unfortunately couldn’t pay him and E replied “I won’t be doing it again.”
